Survival Purpose
We use our aluminum mess kit all the time. It is light weight for backpacking and has held up really well. We did replace a few of the items from another kit but it's a great place to start, especially for the price.
The all-in-one 10-piece cookware kit includes:
- Anodized Aluminum Nonstick Pot
 - Pot Cover
 - Nonstick Pan
 - 2 Bowls
 - Folding Stainless Steel Spork
 - Soup Spoon
 - Wooden Spoon Spatula
 - Cleaning Sponge
 - Nylon Travel Bag Drawstring Pouch

What We Like
- Light weight - easy to carry in a go-bag relative to it's size and function
 - Compact - considering it has pots and pans it collapses into a compact kit
 - Right Stuff - we've cooked soup, fish, ready-made meals (hot water), grilled cheese, etc and used most of the items
 - Durable - it's held up on over 30 overnight Scout campouts with no dents or scratches

Tips and Recommendations
- replace the bowl with 2 collapsible dog bowls
 - add biodegradable camp soap
